About UN4STEM
Our Origins
UN4STEM began as We Teach Scarsdale (WTS 2025), a student initiative in Westchester County focused on peer-led STEM tutoring. It has since evolved into a structured nonprofit with a growing educational network.
Our Experience
We have taught nearly 40 students across subjects including Cellular Biology, Anatomy, and Abstract Algebra. This experience has shaped our teaching philosophy and program design.
Our Philosophy
We believe students learn best from other students because they share a similar academic experience. This allows for clearer explanations, stronger engagement, and more effective learning outcomes.
